longs for the bridegroom

a pebbling pebble: there are however thoughts and intents that are beyond words - we march round, we charge, we tread gently, we plead .. but no words - there are no echoes - in this place there is only emptiness - the emptiness that longs for the bridegroom - he only may enter.

reasons to: get up early

knowing someone is looking forward to seeing you at the gym

just wondering

why do we call the sun going down "sunset"?
is it like setting a table?
or jelly or a pudding setting?

i get "sundown" or
how about "sundropping"
but "sunset" ? ...

someone will enlighten me ...

today was like this

some dreams shock you awake - casting your awareness forcibly into the elements with no regard as to whether it is a new day yet or not - you are shaken and held captive in mind and body until both can either grasp the meaning(s) or they are driven back into the darkness from where they came

some dreams knock persistently until your awareness shifts and you are awake - whether new day or not it is either time to leave slumber's bliss or your sleep needs a moment of consciousness to reset to another position - you cast about to know and either rise or return to slumber's bliss

some dreams gently coax you awake - knowing a day dawns and that in the majesty of new life as the sun rises not a minute is to be missed - thanks comes to your lips, you rise and do what your hands find to do with the strength you have been given

then there are those days where each of these kinds of dreams are active - not one will give way to another - they all three put their hands on your breath and awake you are - slumber's bliss drops away and your mind reals as your minds finds itself - these days need to be lived with special attention - today was like this

smiling changes things

when sadness is dressed
ready to take the stage

audience has arrived
expectation fills the air

remember that smile waits
patiently in the wings

shepherd's crook in hand
pull sadness off to stage left

bid smile take center stage
revealing a changed heart

audience confused and bemused
at first but soon joins in

the laughter and the joy
fill hearts for days to come

paul simon can you help here?

they say women talk a lot!
sheesh !!!
we do - yes that it true
actually yes, i do - true too
however ...

have you ever noticed
that some men can talk you sick too?
this especially ... ugh! no words to describe
with women - they are easy to distract or ignore
but a man ... they won't be distracted ...
ignore them? ... not a chance!
man how do you get away ... truly ...
there must be 40 ways to leave a talker ...

paul simon can you help here?

note to self: 7-6-09

when at the coffee shop ...
leave before the guy who wants to tell you his life story gets started

truth

spoken of token love
who from sin be
shall his robes come
of truth to youth
receive grace and see
spoken of the joys
